I wanted to start a blog to encourage and engage with other fabulous mothers. We found out at 16 weeks along in my pregnancy the our son had a large whole on his spine. Spina Bifida is very scary! Just as any news that your child may be disabled would be. Happily, throughout our journey (he is now 1 1/2 yrs old) he has taught us so many invaluable lessons about patience, love and faith. We’ve had lots of ups and downs. Thankfully everyday I see him laugh and smile, our ups vastly rule over our downs. Life is a journey and we are shoveling our path daily. Cheers to the future!
